Become A Volunteer
If you are interested in volunteering at Columbus Regional Healthcare System, You must be at least 18 years of age. You will first need to complete an
application
and mail it to Shelby Fuhr @ 500 Jefferson Street, Whiteville NC 28472. Upon receiving your application, you will be contacted for an interview date. Once an applicant has been accepted and an appropriate position is available, the new applicant must attend an orientation. It is offered every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. The date will be scheduled for you in the Human Resources Department on your interview day. You will be required to answer some health questions and have an annual TB screening. Once you have completed the above requirements, you will be assigned to another volunteer or employee to be trained for your service area.
