Brentwood, Tenn. (Oct. 20, 2015)— The Florida Hospital Association (FHA) announced that Larry Meese, chief executive officer of Jackson Hospital, a 100-bed hospital in Marianna, FL was elected as a Board member for the 2015-2016 term.
“We are pleased to see Larry elected to the FHA Board and appreciate his tremendous leadership both locally and statewide,” said Quorum President and CEO Mickey Bilbrey. “His understanding of the unique challenges facing rural hospitals will provide an important perspective sure to benefit the entire state of Florida.”

In 2009, Larry Meese, a Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives, became president and CEO of Jackson Hospital of Florida. Prior to joining Jackson Hospital, Larry served in C-level roles including time at Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, FL, Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, NC. Larry holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Washington University in MO and a master’s degree from Cornell University in NY.
FHA is headquartered in Tallahassee, FL, has a regional office in Orlando, FL and representation in Washington, D.C.
