Dwayne Gunter, CEO of QHR, has over 27 years of extensive business leadership experience and a diverse background across several industries, providing innovative perspectives to the healthcare market. Prior to QHR, Dwayne was Chief Strategy Officer & EVP of The HCI Group, where he led the growth and innovation plans for the organization. He also spent several years with Hospital Corporation of America, HCA, in various leadership roles, where he gained operational perspectives around healthcare innovation and insights on technology cost management. In his various roles, Dwayne has focused on driving solutions to healthcare clients to help them achieve their technology strategic initiatives while improving their financial health. He is an advisor to a number of startup healthcare organizations focused on value-based care model solutions, population health and consumer engagement solutions.
Dwayne serves with several charity organizations throughout Middle Tennessee, along with serving in advisory roles to local universities. Dwayne has a business degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and an MBA in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University. In 1997, he earned his doctorate in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
