Hospitals across the nation are facing declining performance due to volumes, revenues and overall costs, declining margins, and uncertainty about overall sustainability. Following a financial strategic plan can alleviate some of the uncertainty and help move your organization towards operational excellence.
This session will focus on the strategics for operating at a high level and the tools needed to create and utilize a financial strategic plan. Learn how to identify and understand tactics to intervene when metrics are moving in the wrong direction and how to set up a successful financial strategic plan to move in a long term sustainable position. The discussion will include:
- Review of the key drivers of operations excellence
- Identifying factors that drive a sustainable cost structure including Supply, Labor, Overhead and Revenue Cycle
- Assessment of the key drivers, and their effect on overall efficiency of delivery
- Overview of components of growth and growth drivers and how that effects a financial strategic plan
