An effective Compliance Program is vital within the healthcare industry. Hospital board members and senior leadership have a responsibility to ensure its effectiveness. This presentation will better equip the healthcare board member to understand and support the Compliance Program and the Compliance Officer. The discussion will include:
- Fundamentals and key elements of a Compliance Program
- Key risk areas and recognizing current risk areas
- How to support the Compliance Program and Compliance Officer
- Fiduciary responsibility and duty to protect the organization
