Quality Update: Antibiotic Stewardship

Thursday, April 2, 2020 | 10:30 am - 11:30 am CST

The overuse of antibiotics can result in antibiotic resistance, and addressing the problem requires a collaborative approach. A properly orchestrated and implemented antibiotic stewardship program decreases the risk of antibiotic over-utilization to patients and potentially mediates the risk of microbial resistance.
