Vicki Alberto, RN, VP, Clinical Resource Management, Advisory Services has over 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, serving acute care facilities as a clinician in the areas of critical care, med-Surg, and nursing leadership. Vicki has overseen and managed many healthcare strategic performance improvement projects across the continuum of care in prestigious academic medical centers, children’s and pediatric facilities, large IDNs, and community hospitals during her healthcare career, taking projects from concept to fully operational status. She has developed and implemented a range of operational and cost reduction projects; engaging physicians to standardize supplies and decrease and or eliminate unnecessary clinical variation.

In her role, Vicki has oversight of the value analysis program process improvement, strategies, work plan and identification of cost saving initiatives pipeline. She seeks to create innovative approaches to the medical-surgical, perioperative services, and cath lab space to enhance the healthcare organization’s patient experience as well as manage cost and improve quality.

Understanding the many nuances of performance optimization, supply expense management, and strategic sourcing, I seek to understand and share improvement solutions that help control the cost, improve efficiency and quality and exceed the expectations of the clinicians who practice within today’s demanding healthcare environment and supply chain disruptions.  In addition to process and supply chain expense management, I have led and participated in a variety of business development strategies including physician preference card management and laboratory optimization program.
